BSS CENTRAL PUBLIC SCHOOL, PURULIA (W.B)
Long ago our forefathers, under the tutelage of Shree Marwari Panchayat, Purulia felt the need for enlightenment of our society and they sowed the seed of education in the form of a visionary organisation named Shree Bhajanashram Siksha Samity(BSS ). Our society has been benefitting with the quality education being provided by various institutions of Shree Bhajanasharm Siksha Samity. BSS is registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act 1961, bearing No. S/99076 of 2000 ? 01. BSS established four schools in Purulia during the Pre-Independence period, namely :-
With changing needs of the society, BSS decided to provide the people of Purulia with a modern yet affordable source of quality education and thus the idea of the new generation school, - The B.S.S. Central Public School originated.
